Each bowl reveals the life of a tree. The knot from a broken limb, the curl that forms when holding the weight of a branch, the burl from age and disease.
These are not lumber yard bowls, selected and graded; these bowls are born from a downed tree, a families favorite tree lost to a storm or from logs one step from the campfire.
Betty made beauiful bowls out of hurricaine wood gathered from downed trees around Waterlefe Golf & River Club. These bowls represent the beauty that can be harvested from our worst storms. Absolutely beautiful!
